Who are "Rempit"?

"Rempit" or usually call "Mat Rempit" are made up mostly teenagers.Nowadays even the girls are also merempit.The age group usually are between the ages of 16 to 30 years old.A "Mat Rempit is term for an individual who participates in illegal street racing, usually involving underbone motocycles or scooters.Not all "Mat Rempit" are involved in street racing,some of them perform crazy stuns for fun, such as the wheelie, superman (lying flat on the seat), wikang, and scorpion (standing on the seat with one leg during a wheelie)
There are a few properties of recognizing "Rempit" group :
1. Move in group
Rempit usually move in group and at night especiaaly during the weekends, sometimes, they will purposly create noise to attract the attention of crowds especially the yaung girls

2. Skillfull in handling motorbike
"Rempit" are expects in handling motobikes, They enjoy speeding and zig-zagging between the vehicles, especially on the highways and peak hours

3. Interest in showing their stunts
"mat Rempit" like ti show stuns on the road. Sometimes, they do stunts for fun in certain places that they know will get full attention of the public. The audience will be beside the highway looking at the "Mat Rempit" doing their action and cheering them on.

4. A lot of traffic offence.
Most of "Mat Rempit" face a lot of traffic offence, like not having driving license, owning stolen motocycle component, disturbing the traffic and so on.

What are the several negative effect of "Rempit"?

As we know,"Rempit" issue was a big problem to our country.The government aiways finding a way to overcome this social problem before it will be more worsted.
"Rempit" being a problem to nation to solve it because they also give an effects to country too.This activity will make all the youngsters careless about our country development like they do not know what happened to country.Effects of their activity,it will occur an increasing of social case such as snatching,rapist,murderer and robbers,where this problems happened when envolving the "mat rempit".
"Rempit" also contribute bad image to nation and involvements of "mat rempit' also cause an increasement in accident rate for motorcycle riders.
Finally,"mat rempit" become like a new trend among youngsters and the impact is they lost what we call Malaysian cultural and also not appreciate our Malaysian independence and Malaysian freedom.
So,for the conclusion by this moment,there are several negative effect of "Rempit" to the nation :
1.Produce uncivilised society.
2.Endanger public society.
3.Creating more serious offences like snatching,rapping and murder.

What are the way to control "Rempit"?

The 'rempit mania' has to be stopped.Here is some ways that at least can control the "disease" that is poisoning our youngsters.
1. Give more religious educations.
2. The consolidation of family institution.
3. Teenagers are not to be allowed to go out past midnight.
4. The law enforcement has to be revised.
5. Controlling the liquor selling.
6. 25 years old to be a despatch boy.
7. Extreme sports training.
8. The leadership envolvement
